• Course Unit system developed for the undergraduate degrees and implemented at the Faculty of Science, University of Kelaniya for the first time in the university system in Sri Lanka.

• Revision of the Mathematics curriculum to include new developments of the subjects and to suit the semester system introduced in the Faculty.
